Rope up a special 'dinner out.'
Backyard entertaining with Tender Ridge™ Angus beef doesn't have to be difficult or fancy. Getting together with family or friends for some conversation in the afternoon sun or cool evening breeze is a great idea. It also doesn't have to be hard on the host.

Tender Ridge Angus ground beef is a relatively inexpensive and easy way to feed a group. Especially a large one to celebrate a summer holiday.

Roll up the chuck wagon.
Spice up your ground beef by adding chopped onions, various soup mixes, barbecue sauce, chunky spaghetti sauce, salsa, bacon bits or minced red peppers to the mix. Keep the tastes of your guests in mind as you prepare your beef patties.

Once you've picked your "burger theme" and flavor, grab a variety of chips and a few dips and then spread everything out on a buffet table so your guests can make their own selections - and so that you don't have to work too hard at playing waitress. Make sure you have plenty of condiments: ketchup, mustard, mayo, relish, onions, tomatoes, lettuce and cheese. A good variety of buns can be fun for guests to choose from, as well. Pick up onion buns, potato bread buns, plain buns and sesame seed buns for your guests to choose from.

Dessert can be as easy as a tub of purchased ice cream or - even better - a batch of homemade vanilla ice cream, churned while the burgers are grilling. Very few get-togethers are as simple as a backyard burger cookout. With a bit of preparation, you can sit back, relax and enjoy your guests.
